Online retail powerhouse Amazon’s plans to open a giant new warehouse in Ravenhall are gathering steam with applications now open for more than 200 jobs at the fulfilment centre.
Amazon Australia director of operations Craig Fuller said the company is proud to be creating hundreds of new employment opportunities for Melburnians at a time they are needed most.
The Ravenhall fulfilment centre will be 37,000 square metres in size, almost double the size of the Melbourne Cricket Ground and able to house up to six million items.
